After the closing date, if you are shortlisted, we will invite you to a first interview. We receive a high volume of applications, so if haven’t heard from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful.
We’re able to sponsor some roles, please check in our job description if the job role is sponsored.
After the closing date, if you are a successful candidate, our recruitment team will contact you to invite you to an initial interview (usually on Microsoft Teams); if you are successful, we will invite you to a Second, in person, interview in either our office in Cockermouth, Cumbria, or Oxford, depending on the role you have applied for.
If you are applying for a technical position, you may be asked to do a short online technical test, details of this will be provided at the time.
Our HR and Recruitment systems are protected to ensure that unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal information, accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal information does not occur. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
- Your details will be removed from our system immediately, if you are unsuccessful.
- If you have sent us a speculative letter we will not keep your details for longer than 12 months following the submission of an application; unless there are compelling reasons to retain it for a longer period.
- If you are a successful candidate, we will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for; such as any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
We contact all interviewed candidates to let them know if they are successful or not.
The opportunity to work remotely is role dependent, but we’ll consider flexibility where possible.
