Createc Takes Home Second King's Award for Innovation

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation.

The awards, announced today, recognise outstanding achievement by UK businesses across four categories: Innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

Known for our innovative solutions to complex industrial challenges, our team is behind some of the world’s most advanced applications of emerging sensor technology, robotics, and algorithms.

Having previously been awarded the Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2019 and International Trade in 2018, we’re thrilled to have achieved this year’s King’s Award for Innovation re-enforcing our efforts and commitment to driving innovation in our key markets including energy, defence, transport and security

CEO, Will Newsom, said, “It’s an honour to receive this award for a second time. Our approach to modular robotics is the secret behind how we rapidly develop, integrate, and deliver bleeding edge robotic solutions for our customers. We believe that the barriers to adopting robotics for customers are too high and this must change. The days of behemoth single-supplier systems are dwindling. These technologies are constantly evolving and we need to be able to rapidly bring together systems of the best available platforms, test them and build upon them. Our proprietary robotics software and communication system allows this to happen.”

This is another great achievement for Createc during a transformative year of growth. We’re not just celebrating awards; we’re also gearing up for an exciting milestone! We’re eagerly preparing to unveil our brand new offices in Cockermouth which are set to open in Summer 2024. The new office has been in development for the past year and will be a hub for Innovation. Stay tuned for more updates!
