Createc is thrilled to announce the launch of Fusion 2.0, the next chapter in our commitment to driving innovation and empowering the brightest entrepreneurial minds. Building on the success of our first Fusion program, Fusion 2.0 is our latest training and mentoring programme, set to empower the next generation of innovators.

At Createc, we’ve always been at the forefront of technological advancements, from robotics to sensor and vision systems and computer imaging. Matt Mellor, our CEO says, “There is no limit on innovation; the opportunities are endless.” With this unwavering belief, Createc is committed to fostering a culture of innovation which was the driving force behind the launch of our Fusion Programme.

Fusion brings together visionary entrepreneurs with Createc’s cutting-edge intellectual property and a comprehensive program of business training, mentorship, and unwavering support. The first Fusion cohort has been the driving force behind several new innovations within Createc, including our ISOSort waste sorting and segregation system and Situate, our anonymous crowd-monitoring system. The programme helped to successfully incubate these emerging technologies within Createc, supporting both technical development and commercial exploitation.  Rosie Richardson, Fusion 1.0 candidate and Product Owner for Situate says “Fusion makes you feel like things are actually possible and has only made me more driven and more determined to succeed”

Fusion 2.0 kicked off this September and provides employees with the chance to be part of a vibrant community of innovators within Createc. The cohort will forge connections, gain insights, and learn from the brightest minds in technology and business. Tristan Markert, Software Engineer and Fusion 2.0 candidate said “I’m looking forward to learning more about parts of the business that I don’t have day to day visibility of, but which might be effected by or inform technical decisions that I make in the course of my work. I applied because I saw it is a really rare opportunity, you don’t often get to work on your professional skills with your colleagues and with direct support from coaches like Janet and Frank.”

Fusion is delivered by FIS360 a specialist consultancy that designs innovation and technology commercialisation programmes.  Frank Allison, the CEO of FIS360, and Janet Milne, an experienced Innovation Consultant, jointly lead the program.

Fusion 2.0 kicked off last week with the first group session delivered by our CEO, Matt Mellor. For more updates on Fusion and to keep up to date with our latest news, visit our website or follow us on LinkedIn.
